Why does size-testing your pages have to be so difficult? Try doing what I do.... I click on the "restore" button (upper right corner of your browser, between the _ and the X buttons), and I then click-and-grab the corner of my browser window and size it down to what I think the smallest monitor screen size would be. If my webpage looks all boned up, I make adjustments to make it look right. If it looks fine, then it's fine.
See? Checking the size compatability of your pages doesn't have to be complicated. This works for me, I'm sure it will work for you too.
