I bought one of those cheesey lighters that have Cancun written on the side for one of my friends and packed it in my suitcase to bring home. My friend smokes so he carried his on the plane with him and had no problems at all. I get home and start unpacking, only to find a note from customs saying that they took my lighter with some lame ass reason.

So my buddy carries his lighter on the plane with him, where he could actually do some damage with it, and has no problems. But mine is packed nicely in my suitcase where I can't do anything with it, and they take it!? WTF?!

On another note, I thought coming back to the US was going to be a lot more difficult. I think it was easier than getting into Mexico!
