Yes there is postbot scripts !
we used to run one that I named HAL on our forum last year.
You can set them to % of replies - like 100% means it will replky to every post made etc
you can install new "brain files" for different topics so that they can talk about various subjects (like give it an Adult content brain so it understands questions liek "do you want to fuck"
it runs on the alice programming
