2000 -

Zimbabwe, known at that time as the "bread basket of Africa", passes legislation providing for the redistribution of the 5,000 odd white owned farms to formerly landless negroes.

2001 -

Court orders all white farmers to turn their land over to the negroes immediately.

2002 -

Zimbabwe famine declared national disaster by Mugabe. Relief workers anticipate they will need roughly 145,000 tons of food, worth about $69 million, to plug the immediate shortfall in domestic crop production in the region. Fund raising drive nets only 3 million.

Negroes commence starving.

2003 -

"Peeze hep us, Massa!"

Zimbabwe attempts to lure back white farmers, offering to give back some seized properties in exchange for farming equipment needed to re-resettle black farmers. White farmers reject the offer.

Famine Agency issues emergency alert as food production plunges 80% from previous 5 year average.
