To answer some of your questions,
Lens - yes it does mean that I'm giving up smoking. There's not even any discussion about that. The two main factors that caused this were family history (on both sides) and smoking. My cholesterol and blood pressure are both very low so I can't even blame it on that. This was a wake-up call and a very painfull one that I have no desire to repeat.

Jamdin - I wanted to thank you for the flowers, balloons and teddy bear. It was just the sweetest, and so are you baby.

Boneprone - I understand I was made an honored member of the boneprone family. I'm touched.

Redshoe - I've had my plane tickets and reservations for Vegas for a while now, so I'll be there. I won't be able to kick back with redbull and vodka, but I'll nurse one glass of wine all night.

Snow - I'll be hitting the cardiac rehab center so my exercise can be monitored. Actually this is good since it will force me to do it. For the first month though I have to be very careful. I can't do anything more than short walks. I'm not supposed to do anything that will cause turbulence around the stents.

Wolfshade - babe, I wish I could tell you an amount, but the bills haven't started to come in yet. I expect to be seeing them next week so I'll know more by then.

Hornymaniac - I'm in my early/mid 40's. It's weird, since I've always been the "mom" in this community, but I was the YOUNGEST patient on the cardiac floor.

I wish I could express to you how this outpouring of friendship and helpfulness has affected me. I need to come up with some way to thank all of you, but I don't know of anything that would adequately do that, so that's my first project to work on.
