here's what I what from a sponsor...
* I'd like to know what pages the clicks that I'm sending to a sponsor are coming from and where the customer that signed up came from (and not just signups, but raw clicks so that I can determine what the vistor/page to clickthru ratio is and what links are drawing most clicks)
* In order for a sponsor to gain my trust, I would like reasonable speed with responses to emails, a working phone number posted if we need to call, as well as some sort of assurance that lets us know we'll get paid. Stating who the sponsor uses for their 3rd party tracking also makes me feel a little more at ease as well.
* One thing that I really like is a temporary membership to the site upon request (so I have an idea of what it is I'm promoting, ESPECIALLY for partnership)
* What motivates me to sign up for a sponsor is how much they pay, how good their banners look, and how much I like their tour
Free content offered is also a biggie for me as well (especially those pic/gallery of the day sponsors)
* And finally I like having a good resource section with the program. Sponsors test out their program to see what works and what doesn't, I wished these results could be published and advice would be given on what works best! Also a site promotion / traffic source section is something I look out for as well.
