After playing Battlefield Vietnam for a couple of hours, I think that it's pretty good. It's definately a lot harder because there's more details like brush/grass to hide in, plus on some maps, lots of hills and valleys, thus between the two, it made it a lot harder because you can't see people so many times, I got killed from outta nowhere. On 1942, it seemed that on a lot of maps things were out in the open, now they're harder to get to.

The new vehicles are nice, I love the choppers and migs, very cool. I'm not the best at flying Battlefield vehicles though, ha ha ha. I like the new armored personal carrier that can drive on land and water. Oh yeah, one more addition is that you can swim now, although while swimming, you can't shoot anyone, you're a defenseless target, but I'll take that now that I can cross water on my own

As far as the graphics go, they looked pretty good on my 2800 Barton, 1-gig Hyper-X ram, and All-In-Wonder Radeon 9700 Pro video card. I think that they might need a patch though because although it looks smooth, certain parts don't seem rite.

I know what everyone wants to know, is it better than 1942 ? Rite now it's really hard to tell, I've been soo comfortable with 1942 and I love it a lot, but this is something new, so I'll have to adjust and probably have to play it a bit longer to get used to it to see if I'll love it more than 1942. Battlefield Vietnam is a good game, BUT so far, it hasn't totally blown me a way.
