Page Ranking will change once the domain goes through the deletion cycle (which takes up to 90 days) the real best bet is to find a domain thats expiring and send the person owning that domain a note asking him if he is willing to sell the domain( you can find this info with a WHO Is search). You will pay more but you will be able to keep enough of the traffic to justify the expense (i have picked up domains for just a transfer fee) But i do agree with one of the other posters stick to 1 or 2 GOOD domain names and dont waste your money on multiples unless you plan on running paysites or specific niche sites. We own 160 domain names now and it has taken years to collect all of them and alot of money to keep them up.
