The world has been at war as long as life has existed. Something is always trying to kill something, either to use it as food, or to keep it from eating the food they already have. Nothing new there...
Granted we have some massive weapons now, and could wipe out millions in one fell swoop, I doubt it will happen. More likely the bird flu will mutate and start killing us by the billions. Think war is deadly now? Think of how many people died in the first hours of D-day in comparison to how many people have died in recent conflicts...
