Israeli food shares many similarities with other middle eastern and greek food.. falls under the catagory of Mediterranean food. Lots of vegetables, olives, grilled chicken and beef with various garlic and other sauces, hummus is a common side with bread (typically pita) for dipping.
It's good stuff and very healthy.
