Banks here are offering their preferred clients a line of credit at prime or 1% over prime, and you can get a Visa attached to the line of credit with a very low interest rate, like 7 or 8%. If you can get a line of credit like that (mine is for $20K) why why WHY would you want a CC that rapes you on interest?
