I'm not saying that ARS is ONLY looking out for webmasters. If they were then they'd go out of business PDQ, but they have to make the choices that they feel will help keep their valuable webmasters while still ensuring their profitability. They don't do ANYONE any good if they're out of business.

All you're really saying here Tootie is that you're an idiot.
If they really cared about their webmasters they would have handled the whole situation far better than they did.
The simple fact is that they were in bad financial trouble - even Marc De admitted that they were bleeding money and had been for a long time.
To survive they needed a very quick fix and they took the one that was good for the company and not for the webmaster.
In any situation like this there is always a win/win option.
They seem to have chosen the win/lose option instead and if this really was the win/'win option then they were and still are in deeper shit than many of us imagined.
Now let the ARS spin doctors and arse lickers queue here and tell us that it just isn't so.
