180° - in the last year, i have paid 9 designers to do work for me, and have helped several people find designers.
in all that time, i have never used a designer i had to ask for samples. i probably never will. i also don't go to movie theaters that don't tell me what movies they're playing.
how would i know if i'm interested in someone's work when i can't see if it's well-done enough for me to bother? but once i'm on those people's icq lists, i will get spammed forever...
so post your samples or don't be surprised if you miss a lot of work.
