No, it is not illegal in Mississippi or Alabama. It is legal in all 50 states. Alabama did still have the ban in it's constitution, but it was repealed in 2000. It was only a matter of formality and of removing the wording though, because the Supreme Court had already ruled in the 60's that such bans were unenforceable.

well thank you for clearing that up, i meant people do it, but it was still on the books as illegal
