I have my own set of beliefs, but basically an agnostic. I consider myself a good person, just not a religious one. Borrowing a quote from Thomas Paine:

That being said - I feel that if there is an afterlife, and a god does exist...if he was spiteful enough to send me to hell for not worshipping him...that isn't a god I would have wished to worship in the first place. Err...not sure if that makes sense when I write it out, but its perfectly clear in my head.
