I understood what they did to acheive this, they need DX7 to base their clipping volume on it's foundation! Cheap solution that locked em inside windows api, it would have been wiser to write this on the GL layer, they could have ported it to *nix... But I am sure we would get betetr performance using the Q3A engine then this layer, just some thouhts
For those who think I'm crazy, let it be know that a company (which I forgot the name) is using the Q2 engine to "walk" their customers in their home before selling it to them!
