I'm really sick and tired of hearing people against gay marriages boiling their arguments down to parenting. That children benefit from a mother and a father and that marriage in it's traditional sense must be "protected" for the sake of the children.

I'm probably preachign to the choir here .. but what the hell does marriage have to do with raising kids exactly? Sure maybe some would like all children to be raised by married couples .. but the fact is they aren't.

I was raised by a single mother. Many people are raised by single parents. My kids right now are being raised by a mother and a father but my spouse and I aren't legally married.

Gay couples are raising kids and there's nothing illegal about it. So you're doing no good for children by "protecting traditional marriage".
