I heard about those dollar accounts at Richard's board. (Richard's Realm)
Actually, they look very tempting. Apparently the banks ask for a $1000 initial investment... which is no problem. But why? Makes me suspicious.
I tried once to get an account set up with the HSBC. The woman doing the "interviewing" was a right bitch... she wanted to know EVERYTHING! It felt like interrogation. "And what is your business?". I ain't gonna say "I'm a pornographer!" I told her that I dealt with Internet Auctions, eBay. When she left the room, I scarpered. I don't need shit from nobody.
Anyway, apparently the TSB only charge £8 to process the cheques, no matter how many there are or how much they're worth. And I heard that they are able to cash them instantly. I think I'll go with TSB.
