About 30 minutes ago, I had the worst CJ experience ever.
I use way cool submit to submit to TGP. Now, for those of you that do use it, you know that after every submission you see an ad placed by the TGP webmaster. Sometimes it's an ad, sometimes it's their recomendations to more TGP's.
I usually just stick to going down the list, but this time the "thanks for your submission" page had about 12 "submit here for good quality traffic" links.
Who was at the top the Hun himself. "Ok, I'll just quickly submit to these 12, and get back to my list", I thought. I mean if the hun is at the top followed by a few other top guys, you can't go wrong, right? WRONG!!!
I submitted this site to the hun last night, so I skipped him for this session. I worked my way down this short list and clicked on the next "submit" link.
A new window opened up, (so far that's how they all open), but then I saw a flicker in the upper left hand corner of my computer. It was a popup. So like usuall, I tried to catch it in time and stop it from loading completely. I right mouse clicked it on my task bar waiting for the "close" menu, but nothing happened. So, I clicked on it from the task bar. Suddenly my screen goes blank, and loads a "tit" website.
Damn, ok just close it so I hit alt+f4. It closes and then loads an amatuer page. No prob, I close it as well. Cj usually lasts about 3 or 4 times, so this was normal so far.
30 minutes later, I'm fucking screaming at my computer, hitting alt + F4, esc + ALT + F4, ctrl+alt+del, to bring up the task manager, and closed everything on my computer, including the way cool list which had about 30 links checked off. And still this fucking popup kept taking over my entire screen with this tit website. It would refresh about every 3 seconds, so trying to close everything was a pain in the ass.
Finally I cracked and visited the site, and found a "live help" link. I clicked on, and began to scream at 'jenna' my live help. Sure as shit, a few seconds into it, and the fucking thing refreshes and I lose her. FUCK!!!!!!!!!
I disconnected from the internet, and waited. Everything is silent... suddenly it refreshes. FUCK YOU!!!! I pulled the plug. I shut it down. I calmed a bit, and resterted and immediately began this post.
I manged to capture an isp# (I think)
12.47.200.100/thePopupPage.html was the title of the popup page. I'm afraid to visit that address for fear that it'll happenn again.
I don't want to burn any bridges, but if you're interested, I have the url that I clicked to start this whole thing, (I don't want to flame him personally, just incase he has some pull in this industry)
What can be done to stop shit like that??
