Sorry but IP numbers are almost always not portable, and even if if this one was (say 99.999% it's not) your old host would have to give you the whole class C to reroute. (like you might have a snowball's chance in hell
) You might think about keeping the account, and move your site somewhere else, and then just redirect the traffic off the IP. Just a thought
