What do baby boomers and The Cars have to do with each other? Nothing. My older brothers are baby boomers, I am not. I grew up in the 70's, the Cars are late 70's through the 80's... decades after the baby boomers.
The term baby boomer connotates those born after WWII, in the late 40's and through the 50's. I was born in '63 and am too young to be a baby boomer, and almost too old to be a generation X'er. Mine is the generation that slid between the cracks I guess. As far as music goes though the Cars first two albums came out when I was in high school...... and I would say that the Cars tunes get played on various radio stations nearly as much today as they did 15-20 years ago. They are hard to miss.
