I've known you for a while and you are one of the most savvy and intelligent webmasters in the industry but unfortuantely this particular part of your post I must respectfully disagree with.
Leased content offers a huge value added service...allbeit not to every webmaster and not to every progrma but we serve our funtion well in the adult internet food chain.
Where else can a small, mid or even large webmaster program come and get millions of dollars worth of content for pennies on the dollar. Most people do not realize the extent, effort and overhead it takes to produce even a "Sloppy" leased product. Besides, leased content providers often offer webmasters a variety of niches to choose from thereby limiting the overall need to spend more each time they want to update or add a new niche site.
While some people may feel that there is no use...others do see the rentention evidenced by their own members emails or polls
requesting more of a particular leased plug in or style of plug in.
Case in point is the

Ultimately, the sufer is the deciding factor...and in my opinion they have clearly decided in favor of leased content.
