I voted for the Green Party last time to help get them that golden 5 percent. No worries this time around.
Nader's running just so he can be heard, which isn't such a bad thing. The problem is that he's preaching to the choir; the mass media only cares about crowning one person the front-runner and another the opponent. People who want to hear what opinionated outsiders like Nader, Kucinich, Sharpton, Buchanan, Browne (and on and on) have to say are forced to seek it out themselves.
Journalists are all lazy bums... they had a professor in Creative Writing 101 who told them that good writing needs conflict. It's much easier to look for only two sides of a story than to accurately reflect a world of opinion.
And their editors are shills. Simple debates are easier to digest and make for better ratings.
