There should be a reason to live to 80
Something to think about:
A guy goes to a new doctor. After a couple of visits and exhaustive lab tests, the doc tells him he's doing "fairly well for his age."
A little concerned about that comment, the guy asks, "Do you think I'll live to be 80?"
"Well," says the doc, "do you smoke tobacco or drink alcohol?"
"Nope. Never done either."
"Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?"
"No," says the patient. "I've heard that all red meat is unhealthy."
"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, sailing, ballooning, rock climbing?"
"No."
"Do you gamble, drive fast cars,
"Do you fool around with wild women, any women?"
"No. I've never done any of those things."
"Good lord," says the doc. "Why do you give a damn if you live to be 80?"
