Killerelf, I think you might be right...Personally I would like to see:
1.All major TGPs and Linklists charge a fee for listings
2.Freehosts become Payhosts or even discounted payhosts with banners.
3.See sponsors quit giving away free content.
This way webmasters will have to be more responible and prudent in their site building, because if it won't convert it will cost them money, rather than make it.
