The internet just don?t work that way, setting standards here is near impossible. If lets say by some miracle next Monday everyone decides to follow a standard, by Friday there will be hundreds of newbies cashing in by offering more.
I believe this industry will eventually reach saturation point and regulate itself. Someone has to pay the content bill and as we keep reducing revenues at pay site doors only the fittest will survive and the rumours that this is a route to easy cash will slowly reduce.
