Download Microangelo 5.0
Install the software
Grab your logo or image and resize it to 32 x 32 pixels with 256 colors. SAVE as BMP (bitmap).
Ok, now you have the bitmap file. Open Microangelo.
File -> New
select ICON and OK
Edit -> Open Bitmap as Image...
You have the 32 x 32 icon now.
Go to Tools -> New Image Format ...
Select 256 colors, 16 x 16, and make sure the "Begin new image using current image" is checked. Click OK.
Now go to File -> Save as
put the file name (favicon.ico)
Close Microangelo.
Upload the favicon.ico to your site.
Go with Intrnet Explorer, open your site and bookmark it. close Internet explorer and open again.
Ok, now you'll get your icon there
