the mechanics who were under contract by the insurance company reported that it was totaled. there was no point in trying to fix it. they said it would have costed 20Gs to fix the damage. That included the tear down inspection. The insurance company felt that they should just pay us that amount for the car. that doesnt include what they paid us for the medical fees and "suffering"

not that bad huh? my right hand was rendered useless for 5 months. my husband's bottom two vertebrae were wedged. because of this, he now has permanent back problems. its unfortunate but at least we didnt get killed. if anything, the most important thing is that our son was unharmed.
