Poligamy is still pretty common in Utah you just need to go to the southern part of the state which is VERY isolated. The Mormon church is well aware of it but officialy has rejected the practice.I lived in Utah for two years,it is an incredably beautiful place,it's just that around the big cities like Salt Lake the average person is about 20 years behind the rest of the country, everywhere else their about 100.

By the way there is one liquor store in the entire state. You should have seen the look on this cute little girls face when I walked into a Seven Eleven in downtown Provo and asked if there was a any place in town I could buy a bottle of Jim Beam. She called her manager who then brought over another employee, and the three of them huddled together in intense conversation for about 3 minutes, then she turns to me and says deadpan "we think there's a store in Salt Lake where you can get that". That's about 150 miles away.
