DEFINATELY do this. Has anyone but me tried thepromoter.com? Except to get 250 junk emails the next day, so make sure you use another email address. You gotta place their banner up on your site, too, on the main page, though. But they didn't except frame sites - so their banner on my main page didn't work. What did I do? I put it in my index.html... which actually hides the thing, and then it worked... I haven't used them in a while, even they they state to re-submit once a month, so maybe by now they have upgraded their service.
But make sure you don't give these people your real email - even just from SE replying back about submission acceptance or rejections are a pain to sort through.
