Wow....just thank god you and your girl are ok. Everything else, cancelling credit cards, etc, suck just as much, but you guys are safe and that's the important thing. You made the right choice to give it up and walk away clean. Good for you. Not worth the risk.
It's funny..i got my wallet stolen before, but it wasn't losing the money that pissed my off, even though i had like $600 in there. It was losing my drivers license.
I now carry a note in my wallet in case it ever gets stolen that says, "Take the money, the credit cards, and everything else...but PLEASE AT LEAST send me back my drivers license."
Why? Cause anyone who lives in LA would know that it's not getting something stolen that sucks, it waiting in line for 10 hours at the DMV to get a replacment ID or drivers license!
I don't give a shit...Take my wallet, my house, my car, my dog, but please don't make me go to the DMV!!!!!
