60% of GROSS? That's can't be right.
In Canada, the rate is about 22% on corporate NET PROFITS if you fall into the "Small Business" catagory, which is defined as net profits less than $250K, and capital less than (I believe) $5M. If you're not a Small Business, rate is about 43%.
Any salary taken out of the corporation counts as an expense, and is not taxed at the corporate level. But, it's personally taxed in your hands. Personal marginal rates are between 17% and about 45% (depends on your province).
