Was that nobody fucking cares how people are dressed. We know who we are.
When I stay at the Venetian, they launder my tee shirts, especially the silk Perry Ellis ones I got at Costco.
They serve me, no matter what restaurant. And, as long as my money is good, they'll serve me no matter what I wear.
That goes for Delmonico's upstairs. If my husband shows up without a tie and they want him to wear one, they'll supply it.
Why? Because they want his money and will fall all over themselves to get it. They know full well, especially in Vegas, that clothes do not necessarily make the man. Or woman, for that matter.
That's what this is all about. Money. Not what you wear or when you wear it.
It's about choice, too.
Five star hotels want money. They don't care whether you're wearing Value Village or the latest in Parisian/Italian coutoure.
I love this business, partly because there IS NO dress code.
