conversions aren't that bad
otherwize, why would they have SOOO many submits....
10% clickthru is concidered kick as...
then, to get a satisfying 5 signups, you'd need AT least 200,000 visitors..
now, most do under 5%, 5% beeing a good clickthrough..
you'd need 400,000 visitors..
Now, 5 signups is OK, but a good one gets you 10-15 signups....
now, that'd be 800,000-1,200,000 visitors..
Now, some people do 30+ signups/day
hehe just saying it CAN convert better... most of the time it does, just have to find your sweet spot... for me, I can't put a banner, thumbs, banner... that gets me shitty sales (maybe 1/4000 there)
but I make "page ads", as in no banners, text links and descriptive text, etc..., I get under 1/500 most of the time...
The guru's out there that make 30+/day DO make full page ads, and I can't tell what makes them get so many signups
once, I told my buddy one of the gallery he hosted didn't look good... he got over 50 signups with it on Hun I believe (long time ago)
