My first call by myself right from the academy was to a domestic in progress, parents couldn't control there 11 year old son, I showed up and he was chasing them with a steel garden rake. Kid was geekin on methamphetamine. I got him, but not after taking a rake handle to my face.
I knew after my first day this job would be different.
