I want a form of democracy that allows the population to "vote" (set current preferences through an electronic system rather) on individual issues, policies and ministers, and where the power of the media is recognized and regulated to allowing all views, while banning the most blatant methods of mass opinion manipulation.
I think we would have more freedom with such a system (the people itself is the "party"), while at the same time increasing the efficiency of the state (cutting back on backstabbing, arrogant, bureaucratic, middle-men).
If you think about it, it is the logical next step, just as traditional democracy was in the ancient times when people often were ruled under systems on which they had practically no influence. Now that we have the technology to creature superior democracy, why hold on the ancient, lesser form of democracy?
Anybody with me?

third parties don't have the $$ behind them like Dems and Repubs it seems like to be serious contenders.
