April, the connection, that I see is, that both seem highly unlikely of being true. Have you ever seen a UFO? Have you ever seen Jesus? No. But people believe in them just the same.
Sure there are lot's of things I've never seen that I believe to be true. But none as controversial as a religion.
There are people all over the nation that swear that the Government is hiding ufo info.
Some claim they have seen them, just like different people claim they've seen the Virgin Mary. I refuse to believe in either until I see them with my own eyes.
The reason I connect the two (ufo's and religion) is because I believe they both have never been proven, but people put a lot of faith in each.
Like I said, I would love it if one day a ufo landed and proved once and for all that they exist. I doubt that will ever happen, just like I doubt the second coming of Christ. (not that I believe there was a 'first coming')
The reason I saw that if you believe in one you should believe in them all is because, if you're willing to belive that there is a God, you are accepting that there is something that you can't quite comprehend. If you're willing to believe in things you can't prove, then why not believe in everything. Where do you draw the line on beliefs?
Hey, who's to say that God is not an alien? He impregnated a girl without deflowering her. His son could walk on water. His son turned a loaf of bread into enough bread for all. His son was killed then was brought back to life. The wise men followed a bright light, or was it a UFO? Can you prove any of this otherwise? SO who is to say it's not true.
Either way, I don't believe in any of it.
