Just my two cents...
I think you guys are looking at this the wrong way - you will never be able to outlaw guns. Look at the Swiss - EVERY home in Switzerland is equipped with a weapon - and every family is taught how to to safely use and take care of that weapon properly.
Crime is near unexistant - and I have yet to hear of any swiss schools being shot to hell from a pissed off kid - they KNOW better! They dont "play" with guns, they teach their children what guns are for and their uses.
EDUCATION is the key - Parents need to take some responsibilty for their kids. Americans have become afraid to discipline their children.
