True crime has gone up, but we dont have massacres anymore. Taking away Guns wont solve crime, but it WILL reduce the severity of the crimes.
The real problem lies with society. The fact that people get things so easy these days makes them bored and frustrated. They snap to easy and go and grab the nearest weapon. Would you rather that be a gun or a knife???
