Everyone loves to say "banning guns won't work" and "If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns"
What about England, Japan, all of europe? It works there.
I have several guns, I know most gun owners are very responsible with them. The thing is those responsible people are the ones that object to laws that screen out the psychos. The NRA is the reason these kids can get guns, they're the reason a kit to make a weapon fully automatic is legal. At some point you're going to have to decide which is more important, your guns or your kids.
I'd give up my guns gladly if it would stop 1% of the murders that will happen this year.
Of course I have a pit bull and I'm shaped like a gorilla - so I can protect myself just fine. My sister and the woman I love both have (and sometimes carry) guns, I'm not saying we should take them away, I'm saying why does it have to be so fucking easy to get one?
