for the glass; if it is in an area that isnt TOO big, wrap masking tape around your hand the opposite way, so that the sticky part is facing out-wards, press CAREFULLY on the carpet...it will pick up the glass. Then once you have the glass picked up, run a vaccum over it several times. Do that for a week and you should be glass free!
