Review
Mickey "Bricks" Stone (Adrian Lester) has just been released from prison, having served a sentence for attacking his wife's boyfriend.
But he's restless for some action and assembles a team of fellow hustlers to pull off what's known in hustling circles as a "long con" - one that takes planning and application, rather than just pinching someone's wallet.
His team is diverse, ranging from old hand Albert Stroller (the Man from UNCLE himself, Robert Vaughn), to decorative Stacie (newcomer Jaime Murray) and eager-to-please wide boy Danny (the splendid Marc Warren, at his most louche).
The group's target is a deeply unpleasant businessman (he has to be; this is potentially dodgy territory so the "mark" must be unsympathetic to the viewers), and they set him up to take an expensive fall.
It's all very slick and tricksy, and it's as light as a feather.
