) that the parenting shifts a bit from being a parent always on the look out, to a parent trying to keep it all together.
But, I think that you are both good parents. I'm not sure what I would do as a parent, and know that I wouldn't be able to do something like that at my age.
Heck if I was a parent at 17, I wouldn't have made it.
Just love your kids, let them have someone to talk to, and keep them on a level ground.
