The license server was so loaded that it couldn't handle the requests for the first couple of days, it would not surprise me if he is making this much coin.
A single license server running a P4 2.4Ghz can hand out about 22 DRM licenses a second. Thats a lot of licenses a day.
I think the question is, how much money could he of made if he had done this 4 months ago at the height of this hype.
