Ha ha, since when could a non-program file contain a virus? Viruses are programs, they need to be run in order to infect your computer. Which means 1. a virus can only be transported in a program file (which could be an email attachment), and 2. it needs to be run after it's on your computer (some fucking programs run shit without you asking, i think outlook is a known one to do such things). It's very possible to have an infected file on your computer, without your computer begin infected yet. But as soon as you run that puppy, look out.
