I've been using galttech as a pop-up on load for my page. I was just wondering what you guys think of them?
They once stiffed me a payment for a whole month ($800) because I didn't send them an invoice to continue the agreement - an agreement that I was under the impression that was to be renewed monthly until one party requested otherwise - which never happened. I informed them that it was a simple mistake, and they stated that they had already spent their budget for the next month, and couldn't fit in that payment. I was like: 'I gave you 13k/day traffic for a whole month, and you don't have any money from that to pay me?' but they maintained that they couldn't fit it in. I was kind of pissed, but I realized that it was my fault. Still, doesn't that seem like they are being assholes?
Man, I've even helped them out with code to help them get more traffic, and helped them identify people using their pop-up codes wrong, and helped them fix it to benefit both parties. It doesn't seem like they cared too much.
Just curious as to any run-ins with them you guys have experienced. With the exception of that, I think they are fine...
Actually, one more thing, they have yet to pay me extra for additional traffic my sites have been getting, even though they stated their payments would change with my traffic (up and down) - yet they seemed to have only dropped payments. They are now paying me under 3/10ths of a cent / click (under $0.003 / click). I know of programs that pay $0.0045 / click, like sellyourexit.com, and theexitcounter.com pays $0.004. Does anyone recommend joining them instead?
I am going to stick with galttech until I find a good one I can trust. But if galttech fucks with me again, I'll be forced to tell them to shove their program up their ass, since the extra cash is nice but unneeded and can easily be replaced. You gotta treat the customers good, boys.
