They wouldnt just take it. They'd have to sue you first.
If I were you, I would register it, point it to a website of yours and let them sue you. Anytime MS sues someone it makes all the news, people will naturally go to the site to see what is there and you'll get tons of traffic.
After the media is done with (which will be about two weeks) call thier attorney and tell him you have reconsidered and want to settle the matter out of court to avoid the cost of litigating against a big company. Tell him that you want them to pay the cost of your registration plus $100. They'll refuse to pay the hundred bucks but it never hurts to try.
I know how this works. Been there before.
