Happened to me, registered as Jman69 and some guy who registered before me was called Jman apparently.
(I had never heard of him)
When I signed up I entered Jman69 right away as a user name, not like I tried Jman first.
Long story short: bunch of people made a big stink about it, and since it was a brand new nick I decide to change it.
Its a bit silly really, infact absurd with your name actually being Nina and you have idiots saying your copying someone else.
I kinda regret changing my nick but whatever - If I were u I would keep your nick. Don't let yourself get pushed around by idiots who can't understand with 6 billion people in the world its possible for some names to be similar/same.
