DXM is a cough/cold medicine that is passed off as ecstasy. The initial feeling makes you think it's E and then you turn into a pile of shit. People can have severe allergic reactions to it and be ill for days afterwards. It evokes violent sickness (harsh puking) in others after about an hour or two.
Most people also report severe medicine head the next day and/or low-level nauseousness.
Hmmm... Been there, done that, and almost lost a friend as well to that shit. I'll pass.
