Here is my suggestion
I have worked with 40 sponsors since december, switching, changing, taking out the ones that suck, and am left with only 2 sponsors out of those 40. Reason? Not a lot of surfers want to look for join buttons or free tour buttons, make the site THE TOUR. Whatever they click on the main page, weither it be a small thumb of a girl, or whatever, it takes them to the next page of the tour. Thats the only sponsors i have converted 1:150 or less with. Remember one thing that i have learned from 1996 a surfer looks at a page for 3-5 seconds, if he doesn't find anything within that 3-5 seconds in the top portion of the page, (less scrolling), he will click away on the back button. why do you think exit consoles are so small, and have so much stuff to click on?
